Happy (Belated) Thanksgiving!

'Twas yesterday, yes, but 'twas a good yesterday ... and the best part is, there are leftovers! Turkey and stuffing and gravy and cranberry sauce, with peas and mashed potatoes and yams ... *pops*. An excellent dinner.

On the serious side, I do have much to be thankful for. I've been to our parish food pantry and seen what an amazing thing it is for some people simply to be able to enjoy one meal on an ordinary night, much less a Thanksgiving feast. My family has been fortunate to be able to celebrate this holiday in full style, especially given Michigan's economy and the increasing number of people who simply can't afford a turkey dinner because they've lost their jobs.

One more year... then our governor's term limit will be up, and that will be something to be thankful for.

Irritation

Irritation I indeed have - over HG's banning of two perfectly good forumers. Well, no, let me take that back. Alex is irreparably marred by Smoochy. Atzy is a perfectly good forumer. At any rate, neither should have been banned.

Apparently, they found Zen's private test forum. Whatever. I don't claim to know all the details, and I don't really care, but you'd think a previous good record would have merited them some further consideration before the folks up top clicked the shiny red ban button. Hopefully we'll see these two back eventually.

Oh, and Zen? If it's not meant to be seen, give it a password. ;)

What May I Be Up To

I'll leave it up to your imagination to wonder what mysterious things I may be doing about which you have no knowledge. That said, I am currently sitting in this computer chair at this computer desk in front of this computer typing at this very minute. I other words, this post is completely, utterly, and entirely meaningless excepting confirmation to myself that this blog is indeed fully operational.
